National Association of the Deaf
               Convention 2000

                Norfolk, Virginia

On Thursday we drove the different route to Norfolk via Annapolis and went on Route 13 using the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (15 miles long) to Norfolk, with a $10 toll.

Arrived at Norfolk and found 2000 people there for the National Association of the Deaf Conference.  I know over 300 of the people and it was good to see them.  There is a waterfront dock for sailboats and yachts and you can walk to downtown.  It was lovely to see.

Staying here over the weekend, I enjoy talking many issues with friends to be enriched from their experiences and had fun, too.  On Sunday I will return to Laurel, MD.
