Toronto - Part Three On Sunday the weather was rainy and made me stay home teaching Dympna how to make the home page at her cable modem service. At first I didn't know about the cable service so I contacted her friend, Daniel Luedue who told me that she must register the home page first then it will allow her to transfer the file to her remote system. You may peek at her web page: (http://members.home.com/fermanagh). Also, I taught her several softwares like image viewer, AOL IM, and Photoshop to crop the photo to her desired size for the homepage. On Monday she took me to Ernest C. Drury School for the Deaf at Milton (west of Toronto), and I saw several deaf teachers that I know from Gallaudet days. Then we rode to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. In the past -- 1974 -- I saw the Falls on the USA side. Now I was glad to have seen both sides and admit that the Canadian side has a better view and has many things to see and enjoy like restaurants, amusements, casinos, and parks that attract tourists like me. Niagara Falls is so beautiful with a rainbow by the Falls when it is sunny and about 75 degrees. It was so perfect visiting there. It is a MUST for tourists to visit. We also stopped by Niagara-on-the-Lake with many lovely cozy houses to look at. |
