Visit in Toronto, Canada
Toronto - Part Two
On Saturday Dympna took me on the train to
downtown while Walter had to work overtime. We sat on the second floor
level of the train car in order to see a better view. Stopping by at CN
(Canada's National) Tower, I went up to the
observation
and glass floor at about more than half the tower's height. The CN Tower
is the tallest building in the world (1,815 feet, 5 inches). Dympna won't
take an elevator up due to height fright. When I was on the observation
floor I took several photos. It is an unbelievably huge city. Also, we
sneaked into the bar with a window glass view of the pro baseball field --
the Skydome -- by the Radisson Hotel, but there was no game playing. The
Skydome can move the roof out for sun like the Safeco Stadium in Seattle,
WA. We walked around downtown and saw the Air Canadian Stadium for ice
hockey and basketball. We returned home and had dinner with Walter, then
we drove to the bowling alley where we entered a private room where her
friend Susanne Pensa, who turned 50 years old, was having a birthday
party. At late night
Walter
drove through several cities with many nice restaurants, stores, marine
harbors, and a Greek Bar where people went for dancing on the roof
(3-floor building). What a long day with a lot accomplished!
