Maine - Part Three
It is really a small
world to know many people. Leila Petersen's sister, Margie, was here;
I had never met her but I know Leila and Larry Petersen in Seattle.
We were very warm friends when we met the first time. Margie's good
friend, Roger Costello, offered me deer meat that he shot himself.
How nice he is... The meat tasted delicious with no fat in it.
The next neighbor at the trailer campground
was Stewart Gerlis, pure Yankee, a fast signer I remembered when I was
in school. He played for Fanwood in N.Y. It was fun to chat
with our old timer stories.
Tomorrow I will return to Connecticut where
Tom Desrosier lives. I need to contact several classmates before
the 35th reunion starts on Friday at Radisson Hotel in Bristol.
