Reunion - Part 3

On Wednesday I was ready to visit Tom Garro at his place with his two daughters and two grandchildren at Southington, CT.  They love him because he is such a good daddy.  He took me around the town where many of his relatives live.  He communicated well with them and showed how close he is to them even though he is profoundly deaf. We stopped Janet Cornish to find out the phone number of Gloria Daughin, one of the Reunion Committee.  Meanwhile, Tom asked me about the Harley Davidson rally in Sturgis, SD, and I explained the daily event schedule.  Tom is tempted to go but needs a ride.

Later in the evening he took me to see my old friend Lewis Hobbs.  He was delighted to see me again and we chatted for two hours.  He told me how good he was doing carpentry work in many, many houses.  Tom and I went to a tavern where Tom expected some deaf people to come see me.  I knew six of them and we talked and laughed all night.
